Tranquil Community

Tranquil Community

While the economic and trade environment and social structure change, the fast pace of life has led to public negligence in caring for vulnerable organizations and groups. In light of this, the Group, remaining zealous, continues to take advantage of its presence throughout Taiwan while reaching out to respective counties and cities and making donations, in kind or in cash, to ensure abundant learning resources available for outlying children, teenagers and people with disabilities and to improve the quality of life of the elderly living alone. In addition, TCB supports local agricultural products in Taiwan to promote local agricultural development and take care of farmers' livelihoods. It also purchases holiday gift boxes sold by sheltered organizations to provide tangible help and care, thus fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

No Poverty

TCFHC is committed to giving back to society and continues to uphold the Group's charity policy. In 2025, TCFHC organized 95 fundraising events for disadvantaged groups and families in need, and donated approximately NT$27.0538 million. The relatively more representative events are as follows:

Zero Hunger

TCFHC has been helping to end hunger in the community for years. TCFHC has participated in the "TAIFEX Food Bank" for 11 consecutive years since 2015. The campaign donates goods to impoverished or crisis-struck families or marginalized households not eligible for welfare benefits.

TCS continuously orders coffee beans from the Future Cafe, established by the Bornanew Youth Caring Association, and festivity gift boxes from other charity organizations, worth cumulatively NT$480 thousand as of 2025 in support of public welfare through actions, which has also helped the disadvantaged support themselves.

Supporting local revitalization and sheltered workshops

In line with the long-term care concept of "Respite Coffee", BNP TCB Life purchases coffee from small farmers in Chiayi as festivity gifts, which has cumulatively come to 400 pounds of specialty coffee. In 2025, it also purchased 1,200 festivity gift boxes from Kanner Foundation of Taiwan worth around NT$550,000. TCVC purchased gift boxes of ten-grain rice from Hanxi Farm and custard apples from local farmers' associations. TCBF purchased handmade soaps and festivity gift boxes from organizations such as the Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation and the Children Are Us Foundation. TCB and TCS purchased oranges from local farmers' associations. The entire group has taken practical actions to support sheltered workshops and local agricultural products worth cumulatively NT$1.9075 million as of 2025.

Supporting Charities and Community Watch

TCFHC not only extends its core competencies and influence as a financial institution to develop a wide range of financial products and services for consumers, but also fulfills the spirit of "Taking from Society and Using in Society". TCFHC combines resources from the Group and supports charities and emergency relief efforts on an ongoing basis.

Sponsoring Arts and Supporting Cultural Development

To promote the development of the cultural industry, TCB sponsored the General Association of Chinese Culture to organize events such as the "2025 WE ARE" New Year's Eve music program, the "TAIWAN PLUS" event in Osaka, Japan, the "2025 Arts and Culture Tea Party" event, the "Matsu Biennial" event, and the "2025 National Day Presidential Office Building Architectural Light Sculpture Exhibition", in order to strengthen Taiwan's connection with the world and celebrate important festivals. In addition, it sponsored the "2025 World Citizens Taiwan Takes Flight Annual Concert", supported national celebrations by sponsoring the National Day Parade and the Nantou County Government's "2025 National Day Fireworks in Nantou" and other events. The total investment in arts and culture in 2025 exceeded NT$9 million.

TCS donated NT$105,000 to the "Fugue Mobile Music Care Association" through a "ticket purchase donation" to support Fugue Children's Music Culture in holding 3 "Taiwanese Picture Book Concerts" at the National Taichung Theater in 2025. The concerts invited children from low-income families, children from out-of-town areas, and children who have long participated in the "Mobile Music Classroom" to watch the performances, with a total of 146 participants in total. The concerts aimed to cultivate artistic appreciation in a high-quality musical environment and ensure that cultural education goes beyond just concepts.

TCVC donated NT$66,000 to support the fundraising project for the post-production screening of the documentary "The Day the War Ended". Based on historical footage and interview materials, the documentary presents the social landscape of postwar Taiwan, aiming to promote cultural preservation and raise public awareness of multiculturalism and public issues.
