Taiwan officially became a super-aged society in 2025 structurally. With an aging population and a low birth rate, long-term care has been a topic of interest. Seniors who are incapable of taking care of themselves or people with disabilities are mostly cared for by their family members at present. As a result, family caregivers bear significant physical and mental stress. Social issues surface once it is impossible to strike a balance among work, finance, and social life. Therefore, since 2013, BNP TCB Life and TAFC have been working together to introduce various measures and activities that support and care for family caregivers.
