Being "holistic", TCFHC is fully aware of the importance of education and talent development to corporate and social sustainability and has been working closely with communities, schools, and institutions over the years for its non-stop long-term support of education and academic research. TCFHC strives to provide every child with equal educational and social resources, achieve financial inclusion, and bring financial knowledge and the concept of financial management to different groups in society, such as teenagers, students, and the elderly.

Rewarding Learning
TCB is a proactive member of the "Charity Fund for Financial Services Industry Education" launched by the "Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable" whose donations are mainly from various financial agencies and institutional members. The fund provides NT$100 million scholarships and subsidies every year to poor and disadvantaged students to help them finish school successfully and to organize educational courses to improve their financial knowledge. A total of 17,480 students were helped according from 2015 to 2025.

As an incentive for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students to study economic or financial topics, TCB started the research scholarship in 1954 to reward outstanding researchers over the long term. In addition, since 1997, scholarships and grants have been awarded annually to outstanding students or children of faculty and staff in schools under the jurisdiction of the government agencies that entrust the collection of tuition and fees or the deposit of school funds, as well as to county and municipal governments that entrust the collection of payments or the disbursement of compensation.

Cultivating Financial Literacy
TCB holds the campaign "Communicating Financial Knowledge to Campuses and Communities". Internal professional lecturers travel to various places to deliver financial knowledge, including elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high/vocational high schools, colleges and universities, communities, senior citizens, people with disabilities, the national army, correctional institutions, and social welfare groups. In 2025, a total of 44 sessions were held, with approximately 2,476 participants. It covers not only wealth management and financial practices but also correct ideas about anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing to be communicated to teenagers and the public with relatively insufficient financial literacy for maximum promotional efficacy. It has been honored with the "Contribution to Financial Education - Outstanding Commitment Award". To assist SMEs and micro-enterprises in improving their management capabilities and financial competitiveness, the Bank, together with the Taiwan Small and Medium Enterprise Counseling Foundation, held a seminar in 2025. Industry experts, government representatives, scholars, and business owners discussed over the topic "Smart Technology Drives Sustainability and Creates a New Era", exploring how businesses can seize new business opportunities amidst concurrent technology and sustainability reforms. Approximately 112 people participated.
In 2025, TCB held over 330 wealth management seminars, with a total of more than 5,900 participants in total plus 102 trust promotional workshops in social welfare organizations, medical institutions, schools and nursing homes to raise public awareness of trusts.In addition, TCB organized a wealth management camp for teenagers, applying the edutainment approach, where students played games and learned correct ideas about wealth management at the same time. To help teenagers form ideas about risk management, BNP TCB Life organized the campus lecture tour "Talk It Out Clearly and Have a Great Time Together" to three schools: Qingshui High School in New Taipei City, Mingde High School in Taichung City, and Shuguang Girls' High School in Hsinchu City, with a total of nearly 2,700 students participating. TCVC donated to the 16th Global Think Tank Forum of National Taiwan University, providing students with a cross-disciplinary and cross-generational platform for industry-government-academia exchange and a space for enlightenment and critical thinking. A total of 260 people attended the forum and conversed with one another on current FinTech trends and issues. TCSIT held a wealth management seminar at Aletheia University, using vivid practical scenarios to help students understand the importance of wealth management vehicles and asset allocation. Approximately a total of 60 people participated.
Minority Empowerment
TCS has long been committed to supporting education in rural areas, narrowing the urban-rural gap, and creating an equal and high-quality educational environment. It continues to donate to the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, the IPOWER Training Institute, and the Teacher for Taiwan Education Foundation. In addition, valuing the development of teenagers from high-risk families, TCS also donated to the Bornanew Youth Caring Association to help juvenile delinquents reintegrate into their families and schools. Moreover, scholarships and grants were available for the children of detainees to encourage them to bravely cope with the future, and in hopes of the society accepting the families of detainees and no more discrimination against them. The total donation in 2025 came to NT$400 thousand.
Industry-Academia Collaboration
In 2011, TCB started to take part in the "Economically Independent Youth Part-time Employment Program" of the Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education so that economically disadvantaged schooling youths can work in a safe and secure environment as workplace freshman and learn to be economically independent. In 2025, 50 work-study opportunities were offered and to date, over 550 work-study opportunities have been offered. In 2018, TCS implemented the "Guidelines for Hiring Work-study Students" to prioritize current university students for the short-term manpower needed during winter and summer breaks. To date, more than 11 such students have been hired. In 2025, work-study students with outstanding performance also turned full-time.
Senior Education
Aiming to become the "Leading Brand in LOHAS Senior Care", the Group continues to offer a full range of products and services to help the public plan for life after retirement and make arrangements for their later years in advance. In 2025, 3 "TCB Lectures - Happy Living and Secure Caring Master Class" with more than 1,075 people discussing plans about second lives were held. Also on "Orange Generation, Living Well with Ease", TCB held 4 tax planning courses for eldercare and long-term care and 2 educational and friendly experiential activities where the industry's first Fulfillment Trust and Pet Trust was introduced to the public to help them understand personal physiology, psychology, social relations, and asset security in eldercare society. There were 400 and 150 participants, respectively.
